Ever notice that whenever you look at a digital clock, there's always something peculiar about the numbers? No? Well, I often do, and according to the int0rnets, I'm not the only one. Here's a clock that tells you what's special about right now. Notice a pattern that I didn't, or think a pattern is more important than the one listed? Let me know.

This page uses Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to update the clock. This was my first Ajax project, and I used it as a basic introduction to the technique. The main point of this whole thing was to teach me the Ajax methodology. I was going to make a tutorial out of it so people could learn what I learned, but it turns out my oldnews page does a much better job of demonstrating how to use it, so I'll use that as a case study for the tutorial.
